Official Main Roads WA 24-hour rest area in savannah bushland on the Great Northern Highway, roughly halfway between Broome and Derby. Well equipped for a highway stop with toilets, accessible facilities, shelters, picnic tables and an effluent dump point. Free overnight stay, 24 hours maximum, and a practical launch pad for the Gibb River Road or the run into Broome.
