Peaceful NPWS campground in a quiet gully on Wheeny Creek at the south-eastern edge of Wollemi National Park, about 90 minutes from Sydney. Toilets, BBQ facilities and picnic tables among tall shady eucalypts, with bellbirds and swimming spots in the creek; bring your own drinking water. Camping is free but an online booking with a $6 fee is required.
