Free beachside bush camping in the Waterhouse Conservation Area about 42km east of Bridport, one of the north-east's favourite coastal camping spots. No fees and no bookings, first-in best-served; Waterhouse Point has composting toilets but you must be self-sufficient with water, food and firewood. Unsealed access roads, with a 4WD recommended for the sandier tracks.
