Dispersed bush camping among river red gums in Gunbower State Forest on the River Murray Reserve, with no fees and no bookings. There are no facilities at all, so bring water and take rubbish out; camp at least 20m from the riverbank and never under big red gums, which drop limbs. Unsealed access is 2WD in dry weather only, handy to Cohuna and the Echuca fruit-work region.
