Galena Bridge Rest Area (Murchison River)

Official Main Roads WA 24-hour rest area on the Murchison River where the North West Coastal Highway crosses at Galena Bridge, just north of the Kalbarri turnoff. Toilets, sheltered picnic tables and an effluent dump point, with room for big rigs on both sides of the river. Free overnight stop, strictly 24 hours maximum; it fills fast, so arrive early afternoon.
