Free camping at the historic Forest Headquarters clearing just off the Pacific Highway between Taree and Kew, an easy overnighter on the east-coast run. Caravans and campervans welcome; there are free electric BBQs and a picnic shelter, but no power or dump point. The short Tall Trees Walk loops through tall eucalypt forest right from camp.
