We are looking for 50 meatworks labourers to start work in December 2026 for an employment period of 9 months. Positions will be available in Mildura, VIC.

Key responsibilities for these positions will include:

  • Physical labour
  • Picking and packaging meat products.
  • Use of tools and equipment for meat processing

Requirements of the role :

  • Being on your feet, standing for long periods of time
  • Walking long distances
  • Lifting heavy objects
  • Working in various conditions
  • Be available for shift work as well as working the entire season

Successful candidates will be offered employment on a full-time basis and paid under the Meat Industry Award (MA000059) with a starting rate as Level 1 $25.74 per hour.

Workers will be required to work 5 days a week. This role could potentially be available for additional days depending on the requirements of the harvest. General hours of work are between 6 AM and 5 PM with a minimum of 38 hours per week.

This job has opportunities for upskilling and training.

Workers must be able to pass a medical/drug test.

Candidates MUST have work rights in Australia.
