Poultry Farm & Plant Labourer

Inglewood Poultry Farm Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for up to 10 positions at our Inglewood, Toowoomba and Pittsworth locations to meet ongoing operational requirements. The farm employs 52 weeks per year, and Full Time positions are available.

No experience required. Full training is provided and we do have a strong focus on workplace health and safety which is a priority on our sites. We will provide training and upskilling for workers.

Various positions with indicative duties:

• Making chicken feed, bag out feeds & maintain mill cleanliness
• Maintaining feed line and distribution of stock feed
• Removal of live birds from crates & ensuring all biosecurity controls are adhered to
• Walking sheds to check stock and report any issues
• Checking drinkers and feeders and rectifying any issues, adjusting feeders and drinkers
• Ensuring floor litter is kept dry and repair water leaks
• Checking and repairing perimeter fencings of sheds & weed control and cleaning sheds
• Culling where necessary & catching chickens and placing in crates for transfer to abattoir
• Shackling of live birds onto production line
