Our client is a major handler in almonds in Australia, producing almonds in a state of the art, custom built facility. Producing the majority of Australia’s Almonds. Located in Lindsay Point VIC 3496
Roles start in February 2027. 9 months of work on offer
Casual work minimum 30 hours per week. 30 Floor Operator roles on offer - no experience required.
Starting pay is $32.18/hour Level 1 as per the Horticultural Award 2020. Additional payments or penalties are as per the Award Onsite training provided with progression opportunities.
Monday to Sunday, Multiple shifts varying start and finish times. Morning – 6am to 2pm Evening - 2pm to 10pm Night – 10pm to 6am Flexibility to work these hours is essential.
The role
- Operate and tend to machines dealing with the removal of hull and foreign matter from almonds.
- Observation of Almonds and Quality checking procedures
- Attending to machinery
- Packaging and storage of Almonds
- Assist in preparation of Almond orders
