Banana Labourer

In this position your duties each day may include: Field Work, such as the picking of banana bunches (up to 50kg in weight), de-leafing, de-suckering, fixing irrigation, replanting, stringing, bagging and other forms of crop maintenance; and Shed work, such as unloading banana bunches, de-handing, sorting, packing, stacking and other related shed activities. You must be physically fit, have the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work up to 38 hours a week (with additional weekend work hours optional), ability to work unsupervised. Flexible to work in all weather conditions, such as daytime temperatures up to 35 degrees and long periods of constant rain. Prepared to stay for 6 months. You will be employed under the Horticulture Award. Work will commence 17 October 2026.
