Farm Worker

ADDEX are seeking 40 seasonal workers to perform general farm duties from 2026 in the Innisfail, Mareeba, Dimbulah and through to tablelands areas.

Duties include but not limited to, picking, packing, operating, pruning, de suckering and general labour at numerous farms in Far North Queensland for grapes, berries, limes, lemons, mandarins, grapefruits, passionfruit, pawpaw, dragonfruit, potatoes and bananas. We are seeking Casual (30 hours) employees for various jobs who will be paid in accordance with the nominated Horticultural Award Rate currently $32.18 Work times vary between farms, but general start times are between 6:30am-7am and finish between 3:30pm-5pm. Expected commencement is between October and November 2026 in farms between Innisfail Dimbulah, Mareeba and the tablelands areas. Contracts vary between 6-9 months. Work is physical and mostly outdoors in hot, humid temperatures. Employees must be physically fit, no previous injuries which could affect work performance, punctual and motivated. Successful candidates may also gain the opportunity to learn and acquired additional skills during their employment. Candidates must be motivated and willing to learn quickly.
