Farm Hands

CTR Banana Group Pty Ltd requires 80 Workers to carry out activities such as cutting, bagging, stringing ,weed spraying, misting , dehanding, sorting and packing located in Mareeba, FNQ.

You will be employed on a casual basis under the terms and conditions of the Horticultural award and receive a minimum of 30 hours per week. We also have employment for permanent positions under the terms and conditions of the Horticultural award and receive a minimum of 38 hours per week.

The work is usually performed between the hours of 6.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and you may also be required to work weekends / PH’s, as required by our company

Work is expected to commence in November 2026 and be available for a period of 9 months / 4 Years.

No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.

You will be required to use tools and equipment (eg pruning and picking equipment appropriate to the position), work in a team with others, and have the ability to work quickly and with accuracy.

Depending on your position work will be physical and outdoors or under cover and you may be required to work in a range of weather conditions.
